My Life Before There.com, and Now…
A message to The Thereians
Before I set foot in the virtual world of There.com, my adventures were lived out in the real world. I was that guy walking through the streets of Montreal, traveling across Quebec, chasing after moments of discovery — new faces, new landscapes, new little pieces of life to hold on to.
Montreal — my starting point
Back in 2017, standing on top of Mount Royal and looking down at downtown Montreal, I felt like I was seeing more than just a skyline. It was the city that raised me, the city where everything started, with all its chaos and beauty.
Tropical escapes, right here at home
I didn’t need to fly south to feel the tropics. At a waterpark with palm trees and exotic pergolas, I could close my eyes and almost believe I was far away on an island. Quebec has this magic — sometimes, it makes you travel without leaving.
Life on the St. Lawrence
I remember being out on the St. Lawrence River, the wind on my face, snapping a picture in front of a private island. Out there, surrounded by water, it felt like the world was wide open and freedom was just a wave away.
The modeling years
Then came my peak years — living in a luxury loft, modeling, while also working in the government medical field. It was a wild mix of ambition and high society, like standing at the top of a wave and wondering how long it would carry me.
The boreal North
Later, I found myself up North, in Quebec’s boreal forest. Surrounded by endless lakes and rivers, I felt small, but in the best way possible — connected to something bigger, wilder, older than us all. The North has a way of humbling you while filling your lungs with pure air.
A word to The Thereians
And then came There.com, and with it, all of you — The Thereians. Together we laughed, we talked, we explored. That virtual world often felt just as real as the streets outside my door, because of the people who filled it.
Now, though, it’s time for me to reconnect with the real world again. To step back into its flow, with all its surprises, challenges, and beauty. Life, like Quebec’s seasons, keeps moving, and I want to follow where it leads.
Maybe our paths will cross again — in another virtual world, on some real road, or who knows, maybe in a parallel life. What matters is that what we shared is still alive somewhere, between memory and pixels.
So this is not goodbye… it’s more like à bientôt, maybe. 🌍💻✨
