Wild West Hide & Seek – French Fun Club Launch Recap

On Tuesday, September 10th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST, we hosted the very first French Fun Club event on Motu Motu Island / Syn City — a Wild West Hide & Seek combined with a Photo Contest. It was an evening full of fun, laughter, and creativity!

Organization & Preparation

Planning this event was a real adventure! I wanted to give members a fun way to explore the island while practicing French. I set up 10 hidden objects around the Wild West Village, each with a small French clue written in a playful, poetic style. A big thank-you to JoyofLife and PennyLouise for helping me hide the objects and double-checking the clues — it wouldn’t have been possible without them!

The turnout was amazing! Here are some of the participants:

• CandyFantasytown – joined in the hunt enthusiastically
• Other Syn City community members – adding to the fun atmosphere

Some funny moments included:

• Watching participants try to interpret the poetic French clues — a few had hilarious guesses before finding the correct objects!
• Seeing MusicMom sneak around in her costume, trying to "blend in" with the scenery.
• PennyLouise striking poses for her photos, turning the hunt into a mini fashion shoot. 😄

How It Worked

Participants were tasked with finding all 10 hidden objects by following the French clues. Once they found everything, they could submit a photo for the contest. It was a mix of scavenger hunt, costume fun, and French practice!

Prize Winners

• 🥇 First Prize – 3,000T$ + Prop → MusicMom (Found all 10 objects, Native American look)
• 🎁 Special Prize – Best Photo – 2,000T$ → PennyLouise (Found all 10 objects, Sexy Cowgirl look)
• 🥈 Second Prize – 1,500T$ → JoyofLife (Found all objects but did not send photo)
• 🥉 Third Prize – 500T$ → CandyFantasytown (Participated in the search)

After the Event

After the Hide & Seek event ended at 8:00 PM, I joined another fun activity with MusicMom — a Wild West themed Gin Card game evening. Although it wasn’t officially part of the French Fun Club event, it was a fun way to continue the Wild West theme and unwind with friends.

Overall, the Wild West Hide & Seek was a huge success — everyone had a blast, learned a bit of French, and shared some laughs. I can’t wait to plan the next French Fun Club adventure!
