⭐ Groundhog Dayz 2026: A Magical Night in There.com

Groundhog Dayz 2026 in There.com: Two Weeks of Marmot Magic

From January 26 to February 7, 2026, There.com transforms into a colorful, playful celebration known as Groundhog Dayz — a two‑week festival filled with quests, events, dancing, laughter, and the cutest marmot mascots ever created.

At the center of this seasonal adventure is Flygirl_Dani, the event coordinator, developer, and 3D‑modeling designer behind the brand‑new mascots and themed objects. She created everything from adorable marmot characters to hot air balloons, special Groundhog buggies, and a fully decorated zone designed to inspire creators and event hosts throughout the community.

The neighborhood hosting this magical area belongs to Susanszy, owner of the Adventure Quest Club, well‑known for her quests and bingo events in There.com. Together, Flygirl_Dani and Susanszy built a fantastic space where anyone can organize activities during the two‑week celebration.

A Family of Marmots, Twins, Shadows, and More

One of the highlights of the evening was spending time with Cazz_Luv, the daughter of Flygirl_Dani and someone I met this summer. She handed me a baby marmot costume with the blue beanie, while she wore the pink beanie. Together, we became the marmot twins, matching perfectly with the theme.

We were joined by _Synergy, who showed up as the shadow version of the marmot, and Br34d, who played the role of the marmot dad for the twins. There was even a version of the costume holding a tiny baby marmot — absolutely adorable, and surely just the beginning of many more surprises coming during the next two weeks.

The Invisible Renae Incident

Renae was also there with Br34d, and we had a hilarious moment when a glitch in There.com made her completely invisible. Nobody could see her even though she was standing right beside us. We laughed so much — one of those perfectly silly moments that makes community nights unforgettable.

A Late‑Night Gathering of Creators

All the photos in this article were taken on January 22, 2026, around 1:00 AM. Several creators gathered in the Groundhog Dayz zone to discuss upcoming plans, share stories, dance, and simply enjoy each other’s company. It was a warm, creative, and joyful night — the perfect way to kick off the excitement of Groundhog Dayz 2026.

Groundhog Dayz has only just begun, and with two full weeks ahead, there will surely be many more surprises, costumes, events, and unforgettable moments. This community always finds a way to turn creativity into magic.

Cozy Night-In and Dance Party at Club Fair

๐ŸŒ™ From Pajamas to Party Lights ๐ŸŒˆ

One wild night at the Club Fair — cozy, chaotic, and full of fizz

Today was one of those There.com days where everything tried to happen at once. Around 7PM, I attempted to join the Spades tournament hosted by xxxcometxxx and the Gin on Fire event by Grim_Feather at 8:30PM. I had even reinstalled There.com ahead of time to avoid bugs… and still, my card table refused to appear. MusicMom stayed patient, but after five minutes of nothing, the game finally loaded — just in time for a restart that reset everything. At that point, I bailed and headed to the Club Fair instead. Sorry again MusicMom for the wasted time!

At 9PM, I stopped by KoreLounge to chat with Candyfantasytown, Pennylouise, _synergy (best choom ever), and the twins Bawble and Gibbletz. It was pure action: clown noses to boost morale, avatars getting hit by buggies and flying across the map.

And here on my blog, I want to suggest something to my friend 3rd_eye for next time: please add a social zone away from the arrival line, and maybe put obstacles at the end of the queue so the buggies don’t slam into us! It would save a lot of chaos and a few broken virtual bones. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Then I headed to the Fairgrounds for the big Club Fair special event hosted by the wonderful and sexy Delight and her fabulous partner Tutu. Their Cozy Night-In started at 9PM and brought together all the clubs to help build a brand-new zone in There.com. It was chill, warm, and full of laughter — the perfect vibe after the buggy madness.

๐Ÿ“ธ Cozy Night-In from afar — the banner glowing, vehicles parked, everyone settling into the night.

๐ŸŒณ Aerial view — colorful trees, the Cozy Night-In lot, and the calm before the laughter.

๐Ÿน Me sitting with my Triple Atomic Fizz — trying not to choke while everyone tells spicy jokes.

๐Ÿงพ Cozy Night-In with name tags — everyone glowing on the banner and in the chat.

๐Ÿ›‹️ Cozy Night-In group photo — everyone gathered, chatting, laughing, and enjoying the night.

We also helped TripleN2king learn emotes and commands — giving him the essentials to become a command boss. Even with my broken ThereEdge compass patch, nothing stopped me from dancing and vibing with everyone.

๐ŸŽง Dance Party by DJ Br34d — neon lights, heavy beats, and everyone shooting and dancing like crazy.

At 11PM, just next door in the Fairgrounds, DJ Br34d kicked off a full-on dance party. The dancefloor lit up with neon colors, the music hit hard, and everyone jumped in. I danced with my beautiful Candyfantasytown until midnight — like Cinderella, she had to return to real life before the clock struck twelve. A perfect ending to a chaotic, cozy, unforgettable night.

Growing Through the Silence

My Truth About There.com

When I joined There.com back in May, I wasn’t coming from a place of joy or stability. I had just lost my best friend in a violent accident linked to drugs and anger, and that shock stayed inside me. I came online looking for connection, distraction, maybe a bit of comfort. At first, I found it. My blog was active, people talked to me, I felt welcomed, and for a moment it felt like I had a place.

But life around me was chaotic. I live in an environment filled with aggression, instability, and substance use, while I’m someone who tries to stay calm and non‑violent. All that tension built up inside me, and without realizing it, it affected how I interacted online. I made mistakes expressing myself, especially with English. I relied on translation tools and AI, and sometimes my words came out wrong. Some people thought I was fluent, and when I struggled, they doubted me.

I also misunderstood the developer rules. I asked AI for help with designs, not knowing it didn’t understand copyright properly. That put me in trouble. I received messages telling me to delete things immediately, and it stressed me out. I didn’t understand why, especially after seeing other copyrighted items around. It made me feel singled out and confused.

Then my blog was removed from the official site. Some group pages became blocked for me, probably because certain admins blocked me personally. People who talked to me one day suddenly stopped the next. I kept asking myself: what did I say? What did I do? Who said something behind my back? I never got answers.

I’m not pretending I was perfect. I’ve been harsh at times, but I always apologized. Considering what I was living through, I think it’s understandable. I’m not rich, I don’t live in comfort, and I spent what little I had trying to create human connection in a virtual world that slowly closed its doors on me.

Some people assumed things about me — that I was a “douchebag,” someone chasing women, someone with bad intentions. But that’s not who I am. I’ve never even dared approach a woman in real life because I’m afraid of disrespecting someone, afraid of rejection, afraid of repeating the toxic relationships I grew up around. I’ve seen people say they love each other while hurting each other, and I never wanted to become like that.

I came to There.com because I was hurting, not because I wanted to hurt anyone. I tried to build connections with the tools I had, even when my real life was falling apart. And now I’m left wondering if I ever had a real chance here, or if I’m just imagining everything. Maybe I’m wrong to feel pushed aside. Maybe I’m not. I don’t know.

This isn’t a goodbye. It’s simply my truth — the full story of why I acted the way I did, why things went wrong, and why I feel the way I feel today. No names, no accusations. Just honesty.

Club Fair: NFL Match at Words and Lyrics Cafe

Back in the Game – Club Fair, NFL & Chooms

Date: January 12, 2026, around 10 PM

After nearly a month offline (thank you, unreliable home internet), I finally reconnected and jumped straight into the buzzing Club Fair in There.com. Over 30 clubs gathered to showcase their creativity—adventure hubs, fashion designers, furniture makers, vehicle creators, writers, neighborhood promoters… you name it. The place was overflowing with talent and good vibes.

After hosting a spontaneous race at Nene’s Cauldron on Caldera, I teamed up with my partner‑in‑crime Candyfantasytown and headed to MatthewKG’s Words & Lyrics Cafรฉ, where he was hosting a live NFL watch party. Perfect timing for some socializing.

Halftime group photo

Halftime squad — five legends, one vibe.

Team lineup during halftime

Stillers Country, cheer squad energy, flame pants — iconic halftime lineup.

Meanwhile, the NFL Wild Card game was heating up. Steelers vs Texans — and wow, what a blowout. The Texans crushed it 30–6. Their defense was absolutely ruthless:

  • Two defensive touchdowns — including a pick‑six that completely shifted the momentum.
  • Four sacks on Aaron Rodgers, who spent most of the night running for his life.
  • Multiple forced fumbles that kept killing any hope of a Steelers comeback.
  • C.J. Stroud played clean, smart football, managing the clock and punishing every defensive mistake.
  • The Texans’ run game chewed up the clock and kept Pittsburgh’s defense gasping.

By halftime, the Texans were already in control, and the second half was basically Houston putting the final nail in the coffin. Not the comeback story Steelers fans were hoping for — but definitely entertaining to watch together.

But honestly? The best part wasn’t the game — it was the people. I finally met Diaryainzon, a wonderful writer who documents her There.com adventures like a personal photo journal. She told me she reads my blog and called me the OG of bloggers. I nearly melted.

More friends joining the game

More friends joining — the cafรฉ slowly turning into a full NFL lounge.

As the night went on, more friends joined the fun:

  • Candyfantasytown — my partner in chaos and adventures.
  • MatthewKG — our gracious NFL host.
  • Diaryainzon — talented writer and screenshot storyteller.
  • _Synergy — my favorite choom, always mysterious.
  • MusicMom — arrived just in time for the final quarter.
  • Droopy & Orielle — the unstoppable duo.
  • Joykin — the cinematic projection king.
  • Jamt — devoted fan of the classic Treasure Trolls.
  • Geomite — the playground devil himself.
  • And a few more whose names escaped me — blame the excitement, not my memory.
Group sitting watching the game

Settling in for the game — “choom with the gang” energy.

We laughed, we cheered, we caught up. After a month away, it felt incredible to be back with my people. The conversations were hilarious, the energy was warm, and the screenshots? Pure gold.

Whether it’s racing, blogging, or just hanging out, There.com always finds a way to bring us together. And this night? It was a touchdown for friendship.

✨ Back Online at Last: A Night in Space & Snow

Reuniting with friends at “Carnaval in Space” and catching a last‑minute dice roll at KoreLounge

Date: January 3, 2026 – Around 9 PM

Tonight I finally logged back into There.com after almost three weeks away. My internet situation has been a whole adventure. A few weeks ago, I still had a signal thanks to my neighbor’s Wi‑Fi (a true unsung hero), but lately I’ve had nothing at home. Tonight I was only able to connect because I was visiting my friend — and of course, the moment I had to leave her place… no more internet. It reminded me of the old Quรฉbec song: “Salut ti‑cul, on se reverra le 7 janvier.” Feels very accurate when you’re waiting for real Wi‑Fi to return.

So reconnecting tonight felt amazing. The first event I found was Carnaval in Space, hosted by Erin X0. Despite the name, the zone was a winter‑robot‑outer‑space mashup, beautifully created by greenangel, kygirl, 1mercy, and laylita. People were rolling dice for something — I never figured out what — but the vibe was fun, chaotic, and very There.com.

I also saw emodude123, the_wifey, polyphia, kiryhava, greenangel and her sister kygirl, and joykin. Some avatars were dressed as marmots, carrying tiny baby marmots wrapped in blankets. Only in There.com can you disappear for weeks and return to a full marmot daycare.

๐ŸŽฒ Summoned to KoreLounge

Then _synergy and br34d suddenly summoned me to KoreLounge Fun Zone to spectate a dice roll for the Buggy Time Lap. By the time I arrived, the racers and the track were already gone — everyone had moved on to other events — but I still got to witness the final draw, where bawble was crowned the winner.

๐ŸŒ™ Starring Night… but No Connection

Around 10 PM, the group headed to a Starring Night with the_hubby and the_wifey for a cozy PJ party. I wanted to join, but my internet dropped again — and without my friend’s connection, there was nothing I could do.

Even though my visit was short, it felt so good to see everyone again. I hope they all had a better holiday season than I did. And since I finally have a tiny bit of internet tonight, I’m taking the chance to update my blog while I can.

๐Ÿ’› A short night, but a meaningful one. ๐Ÿ’› I’ll be back as soon as my connection allows. ๐Ÿ’› Thanks for reading — and see you soon in There.com.

Six Months in There.com — Reflections and Memories

Six Months in There.com — Reflections and Realities

Collage: First avatar, recent avatar, and 2000s dance party in There.com

๐ŸŽ‰ Tomorrow Marks 6 Months in There.com!

Published: October 6, 2025

On May 6th, 2025, I logged into There.com for the very first time. I had registered on April 27th, but didn’t have a PC powerful enough to explore the world until that day. What I found wasn’t just a game — it was a living, breathing community.

I discovered There.com through a YouTube video by Globert (aka Globatron), who was exploring supposedly abandoned virtual worlds. But There wasn’t abandoned at all. A small, tightly-knit group of passionate people were still standing strong, keeping the world alive. Despite the original shutdown in March 2010 and its relaunch in May 2012, the soul of There had never left. It was still there — at every gathering, every event, every pixel of memory.

My first memory in There was meeting CandyFantasyTown at Phoenix Park. She wasn’t just an avatar — she became my mentor, my best friend, and my guide. She had lived through the old There and knew its heart. That day, she taught me how to drive a buggy. It was the beginning of everything.

๐ŸŒŸ Events I’ve Created

Before founding the French Fun Club, I hosted a roast-style comedy night and a singing show on the main stage at Phoenix Park. Later, I launched:

  • French language classes
  • “Wild Wild West” themed object hunt
  • Paintball battle in Murakami’s monkey ruins on Caldera
  • “Glow & Go” alien-themed event in Tyr with mysterious crystals and moonlight

Each event was a chance to share culture, laughter, and creativity — and to build something meaningful with others.

๐ŸŽฎ Events I’ve Attended

I’ve joined buggy races, card games like Motu Motu (Uno-style), Gin and Spades tournaments, karaoke nights, bingo, trivia quizzes, pool parties, chill hangouts, dog playdates, dance nights in themed clubs, talent shows, fashion shows, scavenger hunts, romantic and friendly dates, church gatherings to read the Bible and share faith, sky and space adventures, and surreal moments — like discovering a giant rubber bathtub plug floating in the middle of the ocean, as if it could drain the entire world.

There are also hidden golden statues scattered across the map, honoring the founders of There.com and its beloved mascot, Clucky the Chicken. Clucky has become a symbol of joy and community, and each week a new adventure begins: finding Clucky’s hidden avatar somewhere in the world. It’s a tradition that brings people together — part scavenger hunt, part celebration.

And then there’s the floating island with the glowing “I Love U” sign — not just a romantic surprise, but a magical place suspended in the sky. You can only reach it by teleporting through special portals, making the journey feel like stepping into a secret dream.

๐Ÿ” Weekly Clucky Hunt

Each week, There.com launches a playful adventure: finding Clucky the Chicken, the world’s beloved mascot. His avatar is hidden somewhere across the map — sometimes in plain sight, sometimes tucked away in the most unexpected corners. Players gather clues, share hints, and celebrate together when someone finds him. It’s more than a game — it’s a tradition that brings the community together.

๐Ÿ’ก What I’ve Learned

I’ve learned how to use special commands, design clothing, discover hidden places, and meet incredible people. But every medal has two sides.

The social fabric and language barrier were sometimes hard. Misunderstandings led to drama. Some people were cruel, careless, or intoxicated — saying hurtful things that left scars. Rumors spread. Some veterans felt invaded by the wave of newcomers after the YouTube video went viral. The company banned longtime members fracturing the community. Many left — old and new alike.

System bugs piled up. It seemed hard to fix them. It felt like the sudden popularity was just too quick. New creators tried to sell and grow, but many veterans ignored them. Ego replaced empathy. And many of the friends I made in the early months are simply gone now — likely forever.

But I stayed. Because you don’t abandon what you love just because some people are cruel. The “Ignore” button exists for a reason.

๐Ÿง  My Voice, My Truth

I write to connect — not to impress. My words are long, descriptive, and sometimes raw, because I believe stories deserve space to breathe. I don’t sugarcoat, and I don’t provoke. I speak truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. That’s not rebellion — it’s integrity.

I believe in sharing light among shadows. Humor is part of me, and yes, I don’t always hold my tongue. But behind every sentence is empathy. I’m poetic, but sparingly. I use it when silence isn’t enough. And above all, I believe honesty is strength — even in a pixelated world where masks are easy to wear.

๐Ÿ’– Special Thanks to My Buddys
