My 20-Hour Adventure on There.com: 10 Events, Countless Laughs!

🌅 August 22, 2025 – Introduction

Third day without sleep after 72 hours, it was finally time to get some rest! I couldn’t sleep, feeling like I would miss something if I closed my eyes—worse than a drug for me, totally addictive… But don’t worry, I took breaks in between. I wasn’t in There.com nonstop; I’m not a robot… or maybe I am! 😜

If you’ve read my previous posts, you already know about the first 48 hours of this adventure. On Wednesday morning around 10AM, I woke up, did my daily cat-dad routine, and connected to There.com in the afternoon to later head to the Hot August Nights Gin event hosted by XXXCometXXX. Before that, I was surprised by ErinXo’s return. She invited me to help rearrange her house and furniture—better to see if we’re aligned!

We spontaneously organized a reunion party with old friends. At first, there were only 4 of us, then Babs showed up with 20-30 more at the same time! It was so unexpected and awesome to see everyone again. Erin hosted a second party later so everyone knew she was back. I also pulled an all-nighter redesigning my blog HTML/CSS, spending almost 15 hours understanding, debugging, and preparing my French class. Despite a small disappointment with the number of participants, I kept going and hope more of you will join next time!

6AM – Epic Day at Nuvora’s

I gave Frilly a hug before she went to sleep 💕… she had fun “borrowing” my sexy Scion 666 Cut 😅. I stayed up, already two days without sleep, helping Nuvora turn her backyard into a wedding-style paradise: big tent, flower arch, dance floor, picnic & BBQ area, and a cozy campfire surrounded by palm trees 🌴✨. Frilly kept joking she’d never seen palm trees in There.com, even though they’re literally everywhere!

Nuvora worked on the front with a cute stone pathway, flowers, and trees, while another member played “No Diggity, No Doubt!” 🎶. What a fun and unforgettable day with amazing friends!

9:30AM – Drains Perpetual Yardsale @ Glyn

I went to see my friend Nuvora, who was there along with MistyAqua and Paddo. Sometimes Ella78 pops in to say hi, I think she came this time. Train_Brumor was hosting: “After 18 years of collecting, it’s time to clean out the closets. Come find something you didn’t even know you needed.” His other avatars like Drain_Bramaged were around at The Tower providing loaner vehicles for the community.

We had fun letting our virtual dogs play together. Misty wanted me to take photos because she and Paddo dressed up as Froggies 🐸 haha, and in other outfits too.

~11AM – Artie’s Funzone Buggy Maze

Artie regularly organizes maze courses in buggies to achieve the best lap times in the Funzone of New Guymon's, Guymon's Gorge. Each day brings a new course, almost always, with giant animated marmots and red foxes—very funny! I finished in the top 10 before leaving, though I might have been pushed down if others improved their times later.

11:30AM – Wake N' Bake hosted by Ozgate

We gathered to chat, drink coffee, and smoke a joint (yes, legal in There.com 😅). I met a new member from Johannesburg, South Africa with a basic subscription. Earlier, I think I spotted them at Train_Brumor’s yard sale while Misty was playing with the virtual dogs trapped in a crystal box.

We discussed on the giant BABS tree at the skate park area, enjoying hoverboard tricks. After our guest disconnected, I returned to sit around the campfire. It was a very interesting discussion with Oz and his lovely wife Lady J, among seven total, though I can’t remember all the other names!

4PM – CCR Cross-Country Vehicle Quest @ Bananaphone Island

CCR_Gina organized a cross-country vehicle quest to find the starting point which teleports us to Aurora Island. We needed to locate the first clue in an invisible treasure chest using a patch. The quest honored a late member, Dolphy, with catchphrases and jokes in each chest.

The goal was to open the treasure map with Xs for the next clues and finish as fast as possible, moving with vehicles. I completed my quest in 1h03min, enjoying the ride through Aurora Island’s beautiful landscapes. Finally, I snapped a photo at the finish line with my buggy and the final chest, a red robot beside it with random numbers—guess which one! haha

7PM – Spades Tournament hosted by XXXCometXXX

My partner TexLittleOne joined me for a Spades tournament with ThereBucks T$. We played against SamDark and his partner. Before this, I had never played Spades! I quickly watched a 3-minute YouTube tutorial and managed to keep up 😅. The event took place on Rococos Island with 8 members in 4 teams of 2, all wearing dark blue comet-themed shirts.

After the games, we explored the neighborhood, and Comet encouraged me to settle in their residential area. Competition might be tough with B_A_B_S, but maybe I’ll have two houses in two neighborhoods… haha.

9PM – Cloud 9 Event by Delight and Matttt

Normally Matttt and Delight host together, but this time Delight arrived first claiming Matttt was banned, later showing up himself 😏. Met amazing people: Joykin, The_Wifey, CandyFantasyTown 💖, Br34d, Meste, PumpkinTogo, MusicMom, and more. No flying or club relocation this time, but laughter and dance made it unforgettable!

10PM – Br34d & Butt3r Hot August Night Retro Party

Retro 50s-60s theme at Bali Hai, Maidenflight. Danced with friends including Emodude123, Lunakitty, Erinxo, B_A_B_S, WhispersReloaded, 3rd_Eye, The_Wifey, HotCoolDude, GoldenSpice, CandyFantasyTown, Rosie_123_PH, and Mortazel. Everyone dressed in era outfits, classic cars, neon, and pop colors. Yoimkiki led a pro dance demonstration.

12AM – CCR Four Corners @ Bananaphone

CCR Four Corners game to honor xDolphy, a day for friendship, fun, and spreading joy. Hosted by B_A_B_S, I mostly played near GoldenSpice. My computer crashed during explanations; when I returned, I rolled a dice instead of choosing a corner, landing on 6 “floor is lava” 😱! Everyone panicked, luckily it didn’t count. 😅

1:45AM – Buggy Blitz at SleepyK’s Raceway

Buggy time trial challenge at SleepyK’s Raceway LLC. I clocked 2:51.2s, landing 5th place in top rankings. Unexpectedly met Rufiio, then we hung out in Mahalo sharing vibes and making new connections. From high-speed laps to low-key chill, this day had it all!

🎉 Conclusion & Highlights
